Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini - A project of Aarogya Vahini Trust is a charitable trust, based in Kolkata, District of West Bengal, India formed in 2016 with 80 G and 12 AA certifications , is part of the International Community of Organisations of the SAI Global Federation of Foundations - focusing on the Healthcare domain in India with Outreach Public Health Initiatives with Uniquely Fabricated Mobile Medical Clinics to create access for quality Completely Free of Cost Healthcare in Remote locations with innovative portable medical equipment and technology, to bridge the need – treatment - affordability gap.


The Trust, in alignment to the Sustainable Development Goals on health & nutrition of the United Nations and from the National & International Health Policies, primarily focuses on Preventive Primary Healthcare with an objective to bring about societal transformation through Compassionate Healthcare by touching lives through healing.

About Us

“The highest attainable standard of health is a fundamental right of every human being” - World Health Organization Constitution. Yet, millions of people are pushed below the poverty line as a result of health care expenditure ever year. Also issues related to sanitation, water and nutrition continue to further burden the poor and needy. The responsibility and onus of addressing this dire situation lies significantly in the hands of the society, which could enable and provide for the access of timely, acceptable, and affordable Quality Healthcare and Sociocare services.


The Aarogya Vahini Trust in alignment to the cohesive components of Primary Healthcare as laid down by the WHO has developed a model to address.

  • health needs through comprehensive promotive, protective, preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and palliative care, strategically prioritizing key health care services aimed at individuals and families through public health functions as the central elements of integrated health services

Touching Lives Through Healing is the cardinal message that Aarogya Vahini Trust wishes to bring to every being on this planet, Love remains and will be the most sacred value – one that sustains us, enables growth, furthers progress and unifies the nations of the world. Love when manifest in action becomes Service. The need today for the country and the world is this blend of Love & Service. Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini Trust was commenced to exemplify these values by Touching Lives through Healing through Love on Wheels – A Mobile Medical Clinic. This mobile clinic with the latest and very modern equipment is a one of its kind model that has successfully created access in rural India to qualitative preventive healthcare services to the needy and underprivileged. Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini Trust endeavors to render services to the needy and underprivileged, thus restoring “DIGNITY OF LIFE”. It has been my privilege and my life’s greatest blessing to witness this journey of Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini Trust from nothing to an invincible vehicle, which encompasses all that Swami wanted us to stand for.

Smt. Amrita Roy Mukherjee

Smt. Amrita Roy Mukherjee heading the Trust, is a post graduate student with MBA Finance from Sri Sathya Sai University nurturing the love and values in her day to day life. Her zeal to express selfless love, being imbibed from the school of thoughts of the Sri Sathya Sai Institutions in the form of service for nation building inspired her to be the co founder of the trust. A musician by passion, she is also a teacher for Education for Moral values on completion of the 9 years course of Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas. Her active roles in various sociocare initiatives from childhood had inspired and motivated her peers around her to join this revolution of Love & Service.

Sri. Bhay Bhanjan Saha

Sri. Bhay Bhanjan Saha , a post graduate in Microbiology , currently heads the Operations of a leading Diagnostics in Kolkata. His experience and association working with BSR – Healthcare - a Diagnostic chain spread across Central & Eastern India brought many accolades to the organisation for his efficiency. A spiritual seeker who feels truly fortune to steer head the Trust.

Sri Subhajit Roy Mukherjee
A Public Health Expert, Sri Subhajit Roy Mukherjee has built his path to leadership role in Operations , Strategic Management & Advocacy in the health care sector . He has guided and developed insightful strategies for several institutions to re-build their potential and accomplish new milestones.

Harnessing his industry experience, he has built and garnered the innovative robust outreach health service model in alignment with the National and International guidelines, specifically on Sustainable Development Goals of the United nations on Public Health , offering Preventive & Primary Healthcare Services Totally Free of Cost with Innovative Fabricated Mobile Clinics – Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini.

Under his able guidance bringing technology and innovation together to deliver quality healthcare at Rural doorsteps, the pilot model runs in the state of West Bengal addressing to the dire needs of the Non Communicable Diseases of the Adult Rural Masses with its footprints in Assam and Jharkhand also . The mobile clinics connected with Command Centres in Kolkata facilitates tertiary care procedures through networking with Pristine Healthcare Intuitions in India with prime focus for Child Health Screening under the Divine Child Health Program

Presently he also plays the role as an Institutional Coordinator for a chain of Completely Free of Cost Child Heart Hospitals in India - Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals representing the Sai Global Federation of Foundations – An International Community of Organisations with a common goal of alleviating human suffering!

Sri Subhajit Roy Mukherjee, is currently committed to address the gross burden of Congenital Heart Diseases in West Bengal and the North East, and is involved in ideation, collaboration and set up of an Institution that will bring smiles to the little hearts of the State.
